Senior Accountant:
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required
Professional Experience
- 3-5 years of practical accounting experience, ideally within property management (e.g., condominiums, HOAs)
- Proven experience handling full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and review monthly financial statements with accuracy
- Exposure to audit support processes and involvement in budget preparation
- Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting principles
- Experience with Yardi and/or Enumerate is a plus
Technical Expertise
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas
- Solid knowledge of GAAP, particularly as it relates to property accounting
- Ability to analyze financial data, investigate variances, and clearly document findings
