Senior accountant

Our client, a growing and highly respected construction/service organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. You’ll work closely with leadership, gain exposure to operations, and contribute to financial decision-making in a business that truly values its people and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with operations teams on project/job costing and financial performance
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of accounting experience (construction or service industry a plus)
• Strong understanding of general ledger and financial reporting
• Experience with job costing or project-based accounting preferred
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
