As a global leader in manufacturing construction materials for the building envelope, we offer anchors and reinforcement, moisture protection, thermal performance, wall estimating software, and air barrier systems for commercial and residential masonry markets.The Senior Accountant is responsible for leading the execution of core accounting activities, including, but not limited to, monthly, quarterly, and annual close, generating accurate and timely financial statement reporting and related schedules, OneStream upload and maintenance, and annual budget preparation.Position RequirementsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financials for all related companiesUpload financial data from local company systems into OneStream. Maintain OneStream to ensure accurate account mappingAssist in preparing the annual budgetSupport compliance efforts related to SPIs across all functional departmentsMaintain and reconcile balance sheet sub-ledgers to the general ledger, including cash, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, and accounts payablePrepare and post journal entries to the general ledger accompanied by appropriate transactional supportResearch various accounts and transactions in preparation for financial close, including, but not limited to, significant balance sheet and income statement accountsRecord bi-weekly payroll and reconcile payroll accounts to ensure proper relief of associated liabilitiesEvaluate and recommend improvements in accounting system and processes with the goal of ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingPerform additional projects, duties or assignments as directed by managementQualifications And CompetenciesBA/BS in Business with an emphasis in accounting or relevant related experienceExperience in public accounting or a corporate accounting environmentFirm understanding of GAAP and its proper application, internal controls, and financial reportingProficient in Microsoft Office products and ERP systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem‑solving skills, work ethic, and self‑drivenStrong verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented and highly organizedAbility to multi‑task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines requiredWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
