    Description

    Senior Accountant

    This position is responsible for supporting financial reporting, month-end close, audit activities, and full-cycle accounting processes while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Company's financial records. The Senior Accountant also supports the Senior Accounting Manager by assisting with audit activities and providing backup for key accounting and financial responsibilities during planned and unplanned absences. Manage the full accounts payable (AP) process, including invoice processing, payment preparation, vendor management, and account reconciliation. Handle accounts receivable (AR), including customer invoicing, payment application, and aging report review. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts. Lead month-end closing and prepare accurate financial reports. Assist with federal, state, and local tax filings. Support external audits by preparing reconciliations and required accounting documentation. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Assist with financial reporting, internal audits, annual audits, and updating accounting policies and procedures. Support special projects and other accounting duties as assigned. Serve as backup for the Senior Accounting Manager when needed, ensuring continuity of accounting operations.

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Proficiency in accounting software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills
