Key Responsibilities
Own key areas of the month-end close process
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting packages
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain audit-ready schedules
Support acquisition accounting and integration activities
Assist with external audits and year-end reporting
Drive process improvements and strengthen documentation
Partner with finance and operational leaders on special projects and reporting initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
Public accounting experience (Big Four not required)
Experience with month-end close
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
Audit support experience
Preferred:
CPA or active CPA candidate
Combination of public accounting and industry experience
Acquisition accounting experience
JD Edwards or similar ERP
Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve accounting processes
