Job Details

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting global accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance across multiple international entities. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced SaaS environment and has experience handling complex accounting matters in a multinational organization.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of IFRS and U.S. GAAP, experience with month-end close and reconciliations, and the ability to collaborate across departments and regions.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
Support financial reporting activities under both IFRS and U.S. GAAP
Assist with technical accounting research and documentation for complex transactions
Support SaaS revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15
Participate in global consolidations and intercompany accounting activities
Assist with external audits and coordinate requests from auditors across international entities
Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting requirements
Help improve accounting processes, workflows, and system efficiencies
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and Operations teams on various finance initiatives

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or progress toward certification preferred
4+ years of accounting experience, preferably within public accounting and/or SaaS environments
Strong knowledge of both IFRS and U.S. GAAP
Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a multinational or high-growth technology company
Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Experience supporting international audits and consolidations
Background in education technology or subscription-based business models
