Senior Accountant (Fully Onsite – Greater Hartford Area)
Our client, a respected nonprofit organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of accountants and provide day-to-day guidance
- Manage full-cycle accounting, ensuring accurate and GAAP-compliant financial reporting
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
- Lead monthly close process, including reconciliations and preparation of financial reports for leadership
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, and grant-related activity to ensure compliance
- Support the annual audit and maintain strong internal controls across all accounting processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior supervisory experience
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Hands-on approach with readiness to step into a leadership role
- Team-oriented mindset
