We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, exciting environment and is passionate about crunching numbers and managing financial data. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our financial information is accurate, up-to-date, and in line with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and play a key role in our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Performing account reconciliations, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
2. Collecting and analyzing financial data to ensure all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
3. Conducting financial statement analysis and document meaningful explanations for financial statement fluctuations.
4. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
5. Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
6. Assisting with internal and external auditing procedures.
7. Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.
8. Continuously improving and streamlining the accounting process.
9. Participating in various department-wide initiatives to help meet company objectives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC guidelines.
4. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly with advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, V-lookup, etc.).
5. Experience with financial statement preparation and review.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
