We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growing organization that offers a great work environment and excellent career progression. The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in the financial management of the company, including managing high volume transactions, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accurate month-end close processes.
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record high volume transactions and journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze income statements and balance sheets.
  • Collaborate with other finance team members to improve financial procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Participate in financial audits and work closely with auditors to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
  • Support the finance team in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within the finance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in preparing journal entries and managing high volume transactions.
  • Experience in Big 4 or Public Accounting is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in month-end close processes and preparing income statements and balance sheets.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
