The role requires at least four years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. This position is very hands‑on working within a growing small team of accountants and clerks.Role ResponsibilitiesActive hands‑on participation in Month‑end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries, prepayments and accrualsGeneral ledger accounts review and reconciliationsAssist in oversight of Vendor invoices and payment processingAssist in oversight of Customer receivables and cash reconciliation processAssist in the preparation of internal and external financial statementsSupport the Accounting Manager in communicating financial results to the business unit leadersAssist in coordinating activities of external auditorsResearch and respond to accounting questions to assist management with information pertinent to decision‑making processesAssist in the budget processActively access current accounting operations and systems utilization, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processesWork closely with the Accounting Manager to evaluate and improve accounting and internal controlsOther duties assignedRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance3‑4+ years of prior accounting experience, including industry experience working within a team environmentMasters or Certified Public Accountant is a plus but not requiredMicrosoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus but not requiredAbility to prioritize and multitaskEye for detail.
