About the Opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing, privately held real estate investment lending firm that is redefining how investors access capital. Backed by an experienced team and innovative loan programs, they’ve built a reputation as a go-to partner for real estate investors at all levels.
As they continue to scale, they are hiring a Senior Accountant to join their team in a high-impact, high-visibility role. This position sits at the intersection of accounting and operations, where you’ll turn complex, loan-level data into actionable financial insights and play a key role in supporting a rapidly growing business.

What You’ll Do
  • Play a key role in the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
  • Translate detailed, high-volume data into accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support business decision-making
  • Help build and improve scalable processes as the company continues to grow
  • Support audits, regulatory reporting, and technical accounting research
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to leadership

What They’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services, lending, or a high-growth environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or Master’s a plus)
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets
  • Experience with tools like QuickBooks; exposure to BI tools or data systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with technical accounting topics such as revenue recognition, financial instruments, consolidations, or fair value accounting is a plus

o Exposure to areas like ASC 606, ASC 860, ASC 810, ASC 825, or ASC 480 is highly valued
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and a desire to improve processes
