Senior Accountant

Bloomington, MN | $80,000–$100,000 | Full-Time

Hybrid, 3 days a week in office

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations across multiple business entities and play a key role in the month-end and year-end close.

Key Responsibilities

Manage month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations
Prepare daily/weekly borrowing base, collateral, and inventory reports
Perform multi-entity GL and balance sheet reconciliations
Process A/P, vendor invoices, payments, A/R, invoicing, collections, and cash application
Lead the annual 1099 process, including W-9 verification and filing
Support external audits and prepare requested schedules/documentation
Review account coding and identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting

Qualifications

3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Public accounting experience and/or CPA strongly preferred
