Key Responsibilities (Senior Accountant):
• Assist in managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation
• Evaluate general ledger activity and investigate variances or unusual accounting transactions
• Generate financial reports, reporting packages, and ad hoc analyses for management
• Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to obtain financial data and address accounting-related issues
• Support day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls
• Assist with audit requests and prepare supporting schedules for internal and external auditors


Qualifications (Senior Accountant):
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a professional environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and close processes
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and complex formulas
• Experience working with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms preferred
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and reliable work
• Ability to research issues, navigate ambiguity, and contribute to process development and improvement initiatives
