Description

OverviewOur client is hiring a Senior Accountant (Hybrid) in Gloucester County, NJ, to handle financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close. You will oversee cash reconciliations, fixed asset schedules, accruals, and journal entries while supporting intercompany accounting, audits, and process improvements. This role is ideal for accountants with corporate or manufacturing/distribution experience seeking exposure to multi-entity operations and systems integration.CompensationCompensation: $80,000 – $90,000/year + bonusBase pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yrLocation & ScheduleLocation: Gloucester County, NJSchedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)ResponsibilitiesCash Management: Perform weekly cash reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution.Month-End Close: Prepare accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries in partnership with the Accounting Manager.Fixed Assets: Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules, including construction in progress.Intercompany Accounting: Reconcile balances and coordinate with subsidiaries on intercompany transactions.Compliance & Audit Support: Prepare state registrations, sales tax exemption forms, and assist with external audit activities.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.Experience: 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience required, with experience in manufacturing, distribution, or private equity preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, with experience in Concur and multi-company general ledger environments preferred.Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of corporate accounting, audit processes, intercompany reconciliations, and compliance reporting.Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced setting.Application Notice: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
