Position Summary The Senior Accountant will be responsible for owning assigned accounting processes and supporting the financial reporting activities of Flogistix, a multi-entity oilfield services and manufacturing organization. Flogistix operates as a subsidiary of Flowco Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded company.Essential Functions Own assigned accounting functions and serve as the primary accounting resource and point of contact for those areasLead month‑end close activities for assigned areas, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesPerform financial statement and account analysis for assigned areasSupport parent‑company reporting requirements through preparation of schedules, analyses, and supporting documentationCollaborate with operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reportingAssist with annual financial, tax, vendor, and other audits by preparing supporting schedules and responding to audit requestsResearch accounting issues for conformity with GAAP and company policy and recommend appropriate accounting treatmentAssist with training and development of accounting personnelTimely and effectively complete miscellaneous projects and tasks as assignedContinually drive ongoing process and procedural improvements, including internal controls, within the accounting department and companyQualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, and/or equivalentCPA‑eligible required, CPA preferredMinimum 3‑5 years accounting experience requiredOil and gas, manufacturing, or industrial services experience preferredNetSuite ERP experience preferredSpecific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principlesAbility to gather, analyze, and interpret financial informationStrong spreadsheet skills using Microsoft ExcelAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize responsibilitiesStrong problem‑solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of internal controls and SOX requirementsAbility to partner effectively with operational departments and business leadersAbility to maintain organized and audit‑ready supporting documentationAbility to research accounting issues and recommend appropriate accounting treatment#J-18808-Ljbffr
