Description
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and job profitability, providing analysis and recommendations to management.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate financial discrepancies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of construction contracts, change orders, and project-related expenses.
- Develop and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Provide financial insights and reporting to leadership to support strategic business decisions.
