Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of grant accounting, including tracking, reporting, compliance, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Monitor grant expenditures and ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support annual audits and coordinate required financial documentation
- Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to nonprofit accounting standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Required: Prior nonprofit accounting experience
- Required: Strong grant accounting and grant reporting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting regulations
- CPA or CPA-track candidates preferred
- Advanced Excel and accounting software experience
