Senior Accountant
Itasca, IL | $85,000–$105,000 | Hybrid
Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its growing accounting team. In this Senior Accountant role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the company’s day-to-day accounting operations while partnering with leadership on key process improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do as a Senior Accountant
- Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and investigate variances
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Support external audits and tax-related requests
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience as a Senior Accountant, Staff Accountant, or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
