    Impact Confections is an innovative manufacturer of candies marketed under the WarHeads® and Melster Candies® brand names. WarHeads® are one of the most recognized and tastiest sour candies in the world and the fastest growing brand in the market! The Company is realizing substantial growth as it continues to build momentum with leading U.S. and international retailers across key distribution channels. Impact Confections is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for its Janesville, WI facility.SUMMARYThe Senior Accountant supports the Accounting Department to identify opportunities for improvement of operational results. Must possess strong MS Excel capabilities, including extensive experience creating, modifying and troubleshooting pivot tables. This position reports directly to the CFO and has no supervisory responsibilities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESComplete bank account reconciliations, efficiently reporting and addressing any deficiencies.Utilizing processes and systems, manages cash projections that accurately forecast plant cash flow.Manage and execute the weekly payment process.Perform various month-end reconciliations.Using MS Excel, create worksheets and pivot tables to analyze, interpret and report findings and recommendations.Efficiently and accurately updates and manages the intercompany tracking of sales.Make accurate and timely cash journal entries.Complete the calculation of broker commissions and reconciliations.Execute quarterly royalty payments.Participate in year-end InventoryCommunicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions and implement changes.Assist with auditors' requests as assignedKnowledgeable with US GAAPOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and at least 3 – 5 years of directly related experience, or the equivalent combination.At least 3 – 5 years' experience working within a manufacturing environment.Strong MS Exel skills, including demonstrated efficiency in using, creating and de-bugging pivot tables.Excellent quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and independently deliver meaningful results to help advance Company goals and objectives.Proficient with computers and other standard office technology, including ERP system experience.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.COMPUTER SKILLSKnowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including extensive expertise in using pivot tables. Knowledge and experience using an ERP system is required. Ability to learn other application software essential to performing job tasks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
