What You'll Be Doing:

• 
  
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial transactions are accurate and complete
• 
  
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
• 
  
• Participate in month-end and year-end close activities
• 
  
• Support financial reporting, compliance, and audit requirements
• 
  
• Analyze revenue, expenditures, balance sheet accounts, and other financial activity
• 
  
• Perform system balancing and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• 
  
• Serve as an accounting resource to internal departments and stakeholders
• 
  
• Prepare audit schedules, documentation, and supporting materials
• 
  
• Provide guidance and training related to accounting procedures and financial systems
• 
  
• Participate in financial system testing, upgrades, and implementation projects
• 
  
• Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and internal controls
• 
  

What We're Looking For:

• 
  
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit
• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 
  
• Experience working with large data sets and detailed financial analysis
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• 
  
• Government or public-sector accounting experience strongly preferred
• 
  
• Education, government administration, or audit background is highly valued
• 
  
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and audits
• 
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex and evolving environment
• 
  

Salary: $80K–$98K
