Your Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and delivering meaningful financial insights. This role carries a strong focus on revenue operations and requires deep, working knowledge of ASC 606 and a drive to streamline processes. It is well-suited for a candidate on a path toward Accounting Manager, with responsibilities spanning complex accounting tasks, financial reporting, compliance with corporate policies and US GAAP, and support of both internal and external audits. You will also be prepared to learn and incorporate AI into your body of work to obtain efficiency, insights, and higher quality standards.

Qualifications
Required
CPA designation
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
At least 3 years of audit experience at a public accounting firm, or at least 4 years of combined public accounting and private industry experience
A minimum of 4 years in Senior Accountant or progressively responsible roles at an institutionally backed SaaS company (Private Equity or Venture Capital), or
At least 4 combined years between a public accounting firm and audited SaaS companies, with a minimum of 2 years in each setting
Deep, working knowledge of US GAAP, including:
ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and SaaS-specific revenue recognition
Contract review and performance obligation analysis
ASC 340 (contract costs/commissions)
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
Advanced Excel proficiency, including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and pivot tables
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
