The Senior Accountant supports core accounting and financial reporting activities, including reconciliations, variance analysis, month-end close, and financial statement preparation. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders and auditors while contributing to accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting.

Description
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements in accordance with established accounting principles.
· Maintain accurate accounting records by compiling and analyzing accounting activity.
· Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
· Prepare reports and documentation required for the month-end close process.
· Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances, identifying solutions and driving resolution.
· Review financial information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
· Coordinate accounting matters with cross-functional departments to support reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
· Support internal and external audit activities and maintain effective auditor relationships.
· Assist with financial reporting requirements and other accounting projects as assigned.

Profile
Required
· Experience with financial reporting.
· Experience partnering with internal and external auditors.
· Strong foundation in Excel

· Demonstrated progression in responsibilities and/or title growth throughout career history.
Preferred
· CPA designation or active pursuit of a CPA.
· Public accounting experience.
· Manufacturing industry experience.
· Experience with BW or AI-related tools.
