Senior Accountant - Key Responsibilities
Lead key aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Perform technical accounting research and assist with the implementation of accounting guidance and policies
Maintain and account for fixed assets and related schedules
Support SEC reporting efforts through preparation of supporting schedules, tie-out documentation, and related reporting activities
Review accounts payable activity and help ensure strong internal controls and SOX compliance across accounting processes
Senior Accountant - Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Public accounting experience combined with industry accounting experience is highly preferred
Experience with financial statements, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and SEC reporting support
Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements
Self-directed professional who takes ownership, identifies solutions, and thrives with minimal supervision
