About the Opportunity – Senior Accountant


Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen core accounting operations through process optimization and documentation. This Senior Accountant role is project-focused and ideal for someone who excels at creating structure, improving workflows, and partnering across teams. As a Senior Accountant, you will bring clarity and consistency to complex accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant



  • Lead SOP documentation across GL, AP, AR, and onboarding functions

  • Evaluate workflows, identify gaps, and implement improvements

  • Partner with leadership and GL team to streamline procedures

  • Support budgeting as a technical accounting resource

  • Drive cross-training and knowledge transfer through clear documentation


Qualifications for the Senior Accountant



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

  • AppFolio experience and property/community management accounting background

  • Proven success documenting SOPs and improving processes

  • Strong attention to detail with clear communication skills
