About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant with manufacturing experience and advanced Excel skills to manage daily financial operations, including cash activity, AP/AR, and month-end close. This role requires someone who can work independently, own key accounting processes, and confidently analyze data using spreadsheets, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and commission calculations. Key Responsibilities

Cash Management & Financial Accuracy:

  • Own daily cash activity, reconciliations, and GL accuracy, including journal entries and account reviews

AR/AP Coordination:

  • Support receivables and payables functions, including payment tracking, reconciliations, and process consistency

Month-End Close & Reporting:

  • Assist with close activities and preparation of monthly financial statements

Banking & Transactions:

  • Manage wire transfers, positive pay, and other secure banking processes

Excel-Based Analysis & Commissions:

  • Utilize Excel for reporting and analysis, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, and spreadsheet-based calculations such as commission tracking and payouts

Cross-Functional Support & Team Contribution:

  • Partner across departments to ensure accurate financial data flow while contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting junior staff as needed


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

Experience:

  • 4+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing exposure is a plus)

Excel Proficiency (Required):

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, and the ability to build and interpret spreadsheets for financial tracking and calculations

Technical Skills:

  • Solid understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Work Style:

  • Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable working with minimal oversight while managing multiple priorities

Core Strengths:

  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and commitment to accuracy


Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based within a manufacturing setting, with occasional interaction across operations and production teams. The environment is team-oriented, well-managed, and places a strong emphasis on both performance and cultural fit. Standard office equipment is used regularly, with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
