Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, month-end close activities, and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This individual will partner closely with leadership and the finance team to help maintain accurate, timely, and compliant financial records. Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or operational environment is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries while supporting month-end and year-end close processes
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting procedures
  • Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
  • Support inventory accounting, cost analysis, and operational variance reporting as needed
  • Maintain fixed asset records including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
  • Assist with external audit preparation and auditor requests
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and internal control enhancements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operational and administrative teams

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP principles
  • Experience with inventory, manufacturing, or cost accounting preferred
  • ERP system experience required; manufacturing ERP exposure is a plus
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial, or operational accounting environments
  • Exposure to inventory accounting, standard costing, or variance analysis
  • Prior experience supporting audits
  • CPA certification or active CPA-track preferred but not required
