Senior Accountant - Materials/LAB/R&D

Location: Millersburg, OR
Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Accountant - Materials/LAB/R&D

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• MUST HAVE LEADERSHIP/MENTORSHIP EXPERIENCE
• MUST HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE DRIVING A CHALLENGE TO RESOLUTION
• Demonstrated mastery of US GAAP, including experience interpreting and applying technical accounting standards.
• Strong experience with monthly/quarterly close processes, financial reporting, and reconciliation of complex accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems or other large-scale financial software.
• Strong analytical experience using Excel, databases, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Hyperion).
• Background in cost accounting, inventory management, or plant finance highly desirable.
