    Description

    We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our fast-growing, private equity-backed company as we scale our finance operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real ownership, exposure across the accounting function, and a seat on a close-knit, fun team that's building something new together in our Miami Lakes office. 

    Key Responsibilities  

    • Lead and execute monthly and annual close processes 

    • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger activity 

    • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules 

    • Analyze variances and provide insights to management 

    • Lead internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules 

    • Assist with payroll processing, reconciliations, and related reporting 

    • Support treasury functions, including cash management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting 

    • Assist with ASC 842 lease accounting, including lease schedules, right-of-use assets, and lease liabilities 

    • Support the design, documentation, and monitoring of internal controls 

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on financial matters 

    • Assist with system implementations, process improvements, and special projects 

    Qualifications 

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 

    • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience 

    • Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP; exposure to ASC 842 a plus 

    • Experience with ERP/accounting systems 

    • Strong Excel skills 

    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
