Job Details

As a Senior Accountant, you will support the operational aspects of the Finance Department.

  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including coordination with external auditors
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support monthly financial reporting, including revenue recognition and billing activities
  • Provide support across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions, developing a strong understanding of each cycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to various audit processes, including retirement plans, overhead, and workers compensation
  • Support compliance-related initiatives such as state registrations and reporting requirements
  • Maintain professional and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and vendors
  • Assist with financial reporting for affiliated entities and special initiatives
  • Adapt to new systems and technologies, including leveraging digital tools and AI to enhance operational efficiency
  • Complete ad hoc projects and assignments in support of finance leadership

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience in a service-based industry preferred; industry-specific experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with integrated accounting software systems; experience with ERP platforms is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
