This will be a temp to hire role and is fully onsite. To be considered you must have your degree in accounting as well as 3 years of related experience.Responsibilities of the role: Responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, and internal control maintenanceRecord monthly and quarterly accounting journal entries to ensure financial statements are in accordance with GAAP and Tax basis.Work closely with external CPA firm regarding tax filings.Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and variance analysis through the use of the accounting system.Review general ledger transactions to ensure coding is accurate and all ending balances tie out to supporting documents.Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.Develop policies and procedures and employ best practices within the accounting function.Assist with special tasks and projects as requested.Requirements/Education of role: Bachelor's Degree in AccountingCPA is preferred.3 years of accounting experienceSound analytical abilities.Advanced Excel skill setAttention to detail as well as strong written & verbal communication skills.If you are a Senior Accountant that meets the above requirements and would like to learn more, please - APPLY NOW!Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
