This position plays a critical role in managing the organization's financial operations, including overseeing monthly closings, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of account reconciliations. This position reports to the Controller and contributes to regulatory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while supporting business objectives. The Senior Accountant also collaborates on process improvement, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards, working as a key partner with the accounting team.QualificationsStrong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and budgetingComprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and principles, including GAAPProven ability to perform account reconciliation and manage audit processesExperience with internal and/or external financial audits with exposure to financial statement preparation.Assists with managing the organization's financial operationsProven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, liquidity management, and month-end close processes.Leadership experience with the ability to guide teams and drive process improvementsAssist with regulatory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysisAnalytical skills in financial forecasting and reportingExcellent organizational and time-management skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3+ years of experience in accounting or finance experience, preferably in a similar role, such as Staff Accounting, Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller.Banking industry experience a plus, with knowledge of CECL, interest rate risk, and balance sheet management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
