About the Company Seeking a Senior Accountant:
- Founded nearly 20 years ago with locations in Natick, MA and Minnesota
- Supporting farm-to-table logistics, this group has diversified business
- In this team, the Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller with a CFO above and an Accounting Assistant adjacent within the structure
- Hybrid work schedule on the beautiful acreage in Natick
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Owning the month-end close, the Senior Accountant will be handling:
- Inventory controls/COGs
- Cash reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Organizing year-end close and audit workpapers
- Because of the variation of the business, the Senior Accountant's day-to-day will vary greatly
Background Expected of the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or experience equivalent
- 5+ years' experience in an Accounting role, including 2+ years handling full-cycle accounting
- Sage and QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required
- Restaurant/hospitality industry experience is preferred
