Role: Senior Accountant
Pay Range: $110,000 – $120,000 + Benefits
Location: United States
My client, a well-established organization in the hospitality industry is seeking a Senior Accountant to support and enhance its accounting operations. This role will focus on strengthening financial processes, improving operational accounting procedures, and ensuring accurate financial reporting within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger activities and financial reporting
Review and enhance operational accounting procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and accuracy
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to strengthen financial processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial documentation and compliance
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality or catering industry
Proven experience improving operational accounting processes and SOPs
Strong understanding of general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Prior experience working within the hospitality or catering industry is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
