Salary/Hourly Rate:
$36/hr - $40/hr

Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the accounting close process, financial reporting, cash management, and audit support functions. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple entities in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
  • Supervise and support staff during monthly accounting close processes.
  • Prepare and review monthly workpapers and account reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash positions across multiple entities and complete monthly cash flow analysis.
  • Assist with processing ACH payments and wire transfers through banking platforms.
  • Prepare cash forecasts for various business entities.
  • Prepare and post journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist with year-end audits by gathering required documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages.
  • Perform general accounting duties and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
  • 6+ years of accounting or related experience.
  • Strong experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
  • Hospitality or hotel industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality, hotel, or high-volume multi-entity environments.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP is preferred.
  • Experience with cash management, forecasting, and banking platforms.
  • Exposure to audit processes and financial reporting packages.
  • Experience in improving or streamlining accounting processes.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required.
