Our client is a growing consumer goods company with a strong presence across retail, eCommerce, and wholesale channels. The organization has built a strong reputation within the market and is continuing to scale operations as demand increases across multiple product lines. The company is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support a fast-paced Accounting team and help drive operational efficiency as the business continues to grow.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$90k - $120k

Position Overview:
This Senior Accountant role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving CPG/retail environment while owning key areas of the accounting function. The Senior Accountant will support month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, inventory-related accounting, and cross-functional initiatives tied to the continued growth of the business. This Senior Accountant will work closely with Finance Leadership and have strong visibility across the organization.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
  • Own components of the month-end close process.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with inventory, accruals, and revenue-related accounting activities.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Partner with FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams.
  • Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across financial records and reporting.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
  • 4 - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience at the Senior Accountant level.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
  • Strong Excel and ERP system experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are expected from a Senior Accountant.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
  • Experience within CPG, retail, eCommerce, wholesale, or luxury brand environments is preferred.
  • Experience supporting inventory or consumer product accounting.
  • Public accounting or audit exposure.
  • Experience working within a high-growth environment.
  • ERP implementation or process improvement exposure.
  • CPA or CPA-track experience preferred for this Senior Accountant opportunity.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
