Role: Senior Accountant
Pay Range: $80,000 – $110,000
Location: United States
My Client is a growing organization is looking for a Senior Accountant to support key accounting operations and financial reporting activities. This role will play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules
Review and apply accounting guidance related to revenue recognition and lease accounting
Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data and proper documentation
Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and operational efficiencies
Work within accounting systems and banking platforms to manage financial transactions and reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
3+ years of accounting experience in private industry or a public accounting environment
Background in audit or assurance engagements is a strong advantage
CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems strongly preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft tools and banking portals used for financial operations
Strong understanding of core accounting standards, including revenue recognition and lease accounting guidance
Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
