Compensation:$35.00-$40.00/hour

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• Prepare and manage contract documents for State, City, and Federal funding sources.
• Complete cost reports, drawdowns, and budget modifications in accordance with contract requirements.
• Audit monthly expense reports to ensure accurate cost allocations.
• Record contract activity and review general ledger balances at month-end and year-end.
• Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies for contracts.
• Coordinate with program teams and funding agencies to maximize contract reimbursement opportunities.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in contract management, nonprofit accounting, or financial analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting software and financial systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with contract reporting and funding source compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
