Salary/Hourly Rate:
$95K - $120K

Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will support month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations. This role will work closely with leadership and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving processes, and supporting overall business growth. The ideal Senior Accountant will have strong general ledger experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and general ledger activity.
  • Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Support external audits and provide requested documentation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams.
  • Assist with process improvements and internal controls initiatives.
  • Monitor expense activity and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management functions as needed.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and reporting for management review.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
  • 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience working as a Senior Accountant or similar accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close and reconciliations.
  • General ledger and financial reporting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:
  • Professional services, consulting, technology, or staffing industry experience.
  • CPA or CPA-track preferred.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to multi-entity environments.
  • Experience supporting audits and compliance reporting.
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition and accrual accounting.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
