Financially strong and stable, the company continues to experience steady growth and long-term success.In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by supporting day-to-day accounting operations and contributing to timely, accurate financial reporting.Key Responsibilities Prepare and post daily journal entries while maintaining accurate and organized financial recordsCompile, analyze, and reconcile financial data to support monthly and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsPrepare and distribute financial and management reportsManage deadlines to ensure the timely completion of all financial reporting requirementsSupport year-end close processes and collaborate with the external CPA firmProcess payroll, review payroll reports, and assist with employee benefits administrationInvestigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and irregularitiesAssist with tax-related requirements and filings as neededMonitor and analyze revenue and expense activity to ensure proper recordingContribute to process improvements and perform additional duties as neededQualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience with accounting software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelPrior experience in real estate, construction, or development accounting is a plusWhat You Bring Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to analyze information and solve problems effectivelyStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently while also contributing to a team environmentSound judgment and ability to handle confidential informationPlacers will recruit, hire, train, and promote individuals, as well as administer any and all personnel actions, without regard to race, religion, creed or color, national origin, ancestry, mental and/or physical disability, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, or other characteristics protected by law.
