Position Overview


Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This role offers a blend of accounting, financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their impact and grow within a dynamic organization.


Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

  • Analyze financial results and investigate variances

  • Support financial statement preparation and reporting activities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

  • Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed

  • Help strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

  • Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations

  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • CPA or CPA-track a plus
