Senior Accountant


Overview- The Senior Accountant manages core accounting functions, leads month-end close, prepares financial reports, and ensures GAAP compliance. This role provides accurate financial insights and supports continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Accountant



  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports

  • Maintain the general ledger and resolve discrepancies

  • Oversee AP/AR entries, payroll postings, and account reconciliations

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Assist with audits and provide required documentation

  • Improve accounting processes and internal controls

  • Mentor junior accounting staff


Qualifications for Senior Accountant



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred)

  • 5+ years of accounting experience

  • Strong GAAP knowledge and reporting skills

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel

  • Strong analytical and communication abilities
