Senior Accountant

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this critical role, you'll play a key role in managing a multi million dollar lease portfolio, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Own the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial report preparation.
• Collaborate with external auditors for seamless audits and compliance.
• Fulfill internal and external reporting requirements, including portfolio insights for senior management.
• Assist in budget development and conduct monthly variance analysis.
• Lead process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
• Undertake special projects and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency under tight deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent).
• 2-5 years of experience in industry or public accounting.
• Proven experience with month-end close processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
