Our client, a well-established global manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Assist with inventory accounting and manufacturing cost analysis
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to improve financial performance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and company policies
- Support audits and provide requested financial documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Cost accounting or inventory accounting experience is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
