Job Description
JSG is hiring a Senior Accountant in Orange, CA! This role is 100% onsite.
Pay rate: $38 - $43/Hr.
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join a manufacturing company in Orange, CA. This role will support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- AR, aging and collections
- AP and aging cleanup
- Account and bank reconciliations
- Fixed assets, CIP and depreciation
- Prepaids, accruals and journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Month-end close and financial reporting
- Variance analysis
- Maintain internal controls
- Understand P&L and balance sheet impact of journal entries
- Partner cross-functionally to research and resolve accounting issues
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong GL and reconciliation experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Strong Excel and ERP system experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
