Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant



  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

  • Assist with consolidated financial reporting and intercompany accounting activities

  • Support preparation of financial statements and external reporting packages

  • Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of accounting policies

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP

  • Support external audits by preparing schedules, workpapers, and audit requests

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy

  • Assist with special projects, acquisitions, and strategic accounting initiatives as needed



Qualifications for the Senior Accountant



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

  • CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred

  • 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience

  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation

  • Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting required

  • Experience working in multi-entity environments preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
