Half Moon Plumbing is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, job costing, budgeting, and financial analysis for our growing home services company. This full-time, on-site role in Owasso, OK offers direct access to ownership, strategic involvement in business decisions, and the opportunity to help build scalable financial systems as we continue to grow.

Half Moon Plumbing is seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our financial operations and help scale our systems as we add verticals. This role requires someone who cannot only manage complex financial data but also translate financial insights into clear, actionable information for leadership and field managers.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 annually based on experience

Bonus: Annual performance bonus opportunity

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Location: On-site in Owasso, Oklahoma

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the monthly accrual-based close process
• Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and deferred revenue
• Produce accurate job-costing reports, job-level P&Ls, and gross margin analysis
• Calculate technician and management performance compensation
• Maintain balance sheets, supporting schedules, and cash flow forecasts
• Perform financial audits to identify missed revenue, duplicate payments, and margin leakage
• Manage system integration between QuickBooks Online, ServiceTitan, and payroll platforms
• Develop and improve financial processes, reporting systems, and SOPs
• Support budgeting, KPI reporting, forecasting, and expansion planning
• Translate financial information into clear recommendations for leadership teams

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, trades, home services, or field-service industries
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, job costing, and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders

Preferred:

• Experience in plumbing, construction, trades, HVAC, or field service industries
• Experience with ServiceTitan, Paylocity, or similar software
• Experience owning month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Experience presenting financial reports to owners or executive teams
