A growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. Senior Accountant Responsibilities
- Lead key aspects of the month-end and year-end close process
- The Senior Accountant will manage revenue recognition and deferred revenue schedules
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation
- Analyze financial results and identify opportunities for process improvements
- The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Three or more years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 preferred)
- Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools
