Senior Accountant (Contract) - Pasadena, CA$35-$44/hour DOE2-3 Month AssignmentStart ASAPWe are seeking a
Senior Accountant for a short-term contract assignment in Pasadena. This role will focus on supporting the accounting team through month-end close activities, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Ideal candidates are hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to jump in quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support month-end close including preparation and posting of journal entries
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with account analysis, variance explanations, and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reporting
- Collaborate with accounting team to meet tight deadlines
Qualifications- 3+ years of accounting experience; Senior Accountant level preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting
- Solid reconciliation and general ledger experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and start quickly in a contract environment
Assignment Details- Location: Pasadena, CA (onsite)
- Duration: Approximately 2-3 months
- Compensation: $35-$44/hour, depending on experience
- Start Date: ASAP
