Carwin Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our growing pharmaceutical organization. This position will be responsible for the month-end closing process including the day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and consolidated month-end reporting.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and experienced with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, or life sciences industry is preferred.
Manage day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate financial records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Generate and track customer invoices and payments
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Maintain vendor records and process vendor payments
Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections
Record deposits, expenses, payments, credits, and other transactions
Assist with monthly and year-end account reconciliations
Prepare financial reports for management
Maintain accurate documentation supporting financial transactions
Work with outside accountants/CPAs as needed
Assist with expense reports and employee reimbursements
Maintain organized electronic accounting and financial records
Support pharmaceutical-specific financial activities, including wholesaler/distributor transactions, customer deductions, chargebacks, rebates, fees, and related reconciliations, as applicable
Assist management with additional accounting and administrative projects

5 years accounting experience with Month-End Closing Responsibility
Strong Financial Modelling a plus
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Pharmaceutical, healthcare or life-sciences industry experience is a plus
