Senior Accountant

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)

Compensation: $80,000-98,000

A growing accounting and advisory firm serving clients in innovative, high-growth industries is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a combination of technical accounting, financial reporting, client interaction, and complex business transactions in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements
• Analyze complex accounting transactions and support technical accounting matters under US GAAP
• Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to deliver timely financial insights
• Support acquisitions, financing transactions, consolidations, and other complex accounting initiatives
• Ensure financial information is accurate, audit-ready, and delivered on schedule
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA license or active CPA candidate (at least one exam passed)
• 2+ years of recent public accounting, audit, or related accounting experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and technical accounting
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Team-oriented, curious, and comfortable asking questions
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $80,000 - $98,000
• Annual bonus opportunity: 5% - 8%
